Info about your rights

This document outlines your individual rights under Articles 15–22 and 34 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679—the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These rights apply to all natural persons located in the European Economic Area (EEA).

This information is provided by FDC Servers.net LLC ("FDC"). As an FDC customer in the EEA, you have the following data protection rights under the GDPR:

1. The right to access

You have the right to request confirmation from FDC as to whether we process your personal data. If we do, you also have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we process about you
  • Receive information on:
    • The purposes of processing
    • The categories of personal data processed
    • The recipients of your data
    • The storage duration or criteria used to determine it

You may request a copy of your personal data. The first copy will be provided free of charge; additional copies may incur a reasonable fee.

2. The right to rectification

You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we complete any incomplete personal data, depending on the processing purpose.

3. The right to erasure

You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data without undue delay in the following cases:

  • The data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected
  • You withdraw your consent (where consent was the legal basis)
  • You object to the processing
  • The data was processed for direct marketing
  • The data was unlawfully processed

Exceptions

Your request may be denied if processing is necessary for:

  • Exercising the right of freedom of expression and information
  • Compliance with a legal obligation
  • Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims

4. The right to restrict processing

You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if:

  • You contest its accuracy
  • Processing is unlawful and you oppose erasure
  • We no longer need the data, but you require it for legal claims
  • You have objected to processing and verification is pending

If processing is restricted:

  • We may continue to store the data
  • We will only process it with your consent, for legal claims, to protect the rights of others, or for important public interest

5. The right to object to processing

You may object to our processing of your personal data if:

  • It is based on public interest or official authority
  • It is based on our or a third party's legitimate interest

In such cases, we will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legal grounds that override your rights, or the processing is necessary for legal claims.

You also have the right to object to your data being processed for direct marketing, including profiling. If you object, we will cease processing for this purpose.

6. The right to data portability

You have the right to request your personal data:

  • In a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
  • Transferred directly to another data controller (if technically feasible)

This right only applies when:

  • The processing is based on your consent or a contract
  • The data is processed by automated means

7. The right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your personal data has been processed in violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the:

  • EU country where you reside
  • EU country where you work
  • EU country where the alleged infringement occurred
