Reporting abuse

At FDC Servers.net, we take abuse of our services very seriously. If you wish to report a copyright infringement, you must submit a valid and properly formatted notification in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Incomplete or improperly formatted reports may be ignored.

Required information for a valid DMCA notice

To ensure we can take appropriate action, your notification must include the following details:

1. Identification of the complainant

   • You must identify yourself as either:
     • The copyright holder of the work(s) in question, or
     • An authorized agent acting on behalf of the copyright holder.

2. Your contact information

   • Full legal name
   • Physical mailing address
   • Telephone number
   • Valid email address

3. Description of the copyrighted work(s)

   • Provide a complete list of the copyrighted materials you believe are being infringed.
   • If reporting a large number of works on a single site, you may provide a representative list.

4. Identification of the infringing material

   • Specify the exact material you believe is infringing.
   • Include the full URL(s) where the infringing content appears.
   • Clearly indicate what content should be disabled or removed.

5. Good faith statement

   • You must declare that you have a good faith belief that the reported use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.

6. Accuracy and perjury statement

   • Confirm that the information provided is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
   • Include a statement made under penalty of perjury.

Repeat infringers

In accordance with Section 512(i)(1)(A) of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512), FDC Servers.net will terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
